The much-anticipated Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is coming to town, and people from far and wide will make their way to NRG Park to be a part of the festivities February 28- March 19, 2023. Here are some of the fun activities happening at this event near our Houston apartments:

Bar-B-Que Contest

Experience a true Texas barbeque meal while you enjoy live music from some of the best musicians in Texas. The bar-b-que contest features over 250 of the world's best bar-b-que connoisseurs, and while most of the team tents are invite-only, there will be plenty of delicious bar-b-que available in the public venues. Visitors will have access to several public venues including The Garden Stage, Rockin' Bar-B-Que Saloon, and the Chuckwagon, in addition to all of the fun and games found at the carnival. The contest runs February 23-25, 2023, so get your tickets now!

Concert for All Ages

The release of the rodeo concert lineup has people scrambling to get their hands on tickets to the world renown musical artists. This year's lineup includes some old favorites like Brad Paisley and Chris Stapleton, along with newcomer Lauren Daigle, and fan favorite New Kids On The Block. Rodeo Fun

The Houston rodeo features cowboys and cowgirls from around the world who come to compete and display their ability and strength in front of thousands of fans. You'll be wowed by their confidence and willingness to perform with animals like a 2,000-pound bull. Oooh and ahhh with the crowd during the steer wrestling, cheer on the FFA members during the calf scramble, and laugh during the much-anticipated mutton bustin' event.
