Visit this creative and interactive community and find out why it has become a mecca for Houston local artists and community members alike.
The Project Row House Community Gallery is open year-round and features rotating themes that focus on social transformation and collective creativity. Visitors will find 22 houses with sophisticated and socially relevant art and literary works crafted by a visionary group of neighborhood artists, creatives, and advocates. Each artist provides their own unique contribution, and the collective works together on one theme at a time to create projects that uplift the community. Past projects from Project Row Houses include Third Ward Fresh cooking lessons, Free Market Square performances, and cultural activities to highlight the Third Ward's history. The schedule of themed projects is posted on the website throughout the year.
In addition to its social-themed art gallery, Project Row House arts district in Houston holds special events that inspire and entertain Houston area residents and visitors.
